Reiki Training

Komyo ReikiDo is a Japenese-style Reiki that is a keep-it-simple system. The practice motto is: Place your hands, Surrender and Smile. In Japanese "do" means 'a way or a path.' This lineage of Usui Reiki helps us open the gateway of connection with the Universe to support healing our body and mind through the daily practice of Reiki Rhoyo. Within this tradition all are welcome and there is a requirement to progress through the levels beginning at Level 1 (Shoden).
As you progress through the learning you go from doing Reiki to being Reiki. It is a practice that guides us from ego to interconnectedness, from attachment to non-attachment, and from duality to non-duality - the equanimous mind. It is through the practice of Reiki Rhoyo that you develop this peace and then it expands to all areas of your life. There is no limit to your expansion except your mind. 1st Degree: Shoden
This initial level is for self-healing and awakening. It is about connecting to your inner light, inner wisdom and inner knowing. It teaches us practices to cultivate self awareness.

In this course you will learn/recieve:
* Komyo ReikiDo Manual
* the history of Reiki
* the Gokai in Japanese - the precepts that the healing system is based on
* Gassho meditation
* 21-day daily self-healing practice
* 4 Reiju, spiritual blessings/attunements
You will be provided with the knowledge and skills to practice self-healing along with practical guidance on integrating these daily practices into your life.

It is suitable for anyone who is looking for tools to support your nervous system, energy healing, a pathway to spiritual expansion and clarity, or, to begin your own journey to becoming a Reiki practitioner. ​​​
3rd Degree: Okuden
Okuden means "inner teaching." This level focuses on cultivating your spiritual growth. It is about self empowerment on the path towards Satori (enlightenment).

You will be given the third Komyo ReikiDo Manual, 4th shirushi (symbol) and related mantra (jumon). The majority of the time is spent on learning how to use this new symbol, along with receiving the additional attunements.

This course becomes a gateway to transcending duality and moving into a new a deeper way of being that is peaceful and abundant. This is the advanced-practitioner level and there is a requirement to wait at least six (6) months after completing Chuden (Level 3) prior to completing this level. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
2nd Degree: Chuden
This is the practitioner level where you focus on helping others. You will connect to your inner wisdom, intuition and knowledge so you can trust the guidance of Universal energy for healing.

In this course you will learn/receive:
* Komyo ReikiDo Manual
* 3 sacred Reiki symbols (shirushi) and mantras (jumon)
* to conduct "distance" healing
* 4 Reiju, spiritual blessings/attunements
* advanced techniques to use in your practice
It teaches us to practice awareness of others. We will practice both distance and hands-on healing to enhance your ability to channel energy. There are also discussions on your ethics and responsibilities as a Reiki practitioner.

4th Degree: Shinpiden
Shinpiden means "mystery teachings" or "hidden teachings." Reflective of it's meaning, the personal journey doesn't end with this course for those who want to help others. It is the beginning of learning about the "mystery" of Reiki teaching to support your students and your continued spiritual growth.

The key focus of this level is to achieve "Anshin Ritsumei" or "a state of mental peace." It is a sense of tranquility and clarity of mind that comes from achieving a balanced emotional state and deep sense of knowing that makes us secure.
It supports our ability to hold unattached space to support empowering others. ​

During this training you review all the previous levels and learn how to perform the various Reiju (for each level).
After completion of this level you are qualified to work as a teacher, but that is not a requirement.
